Divergence

It's being a generally disappointing month, with almost all potential clients changing their minds about proceeding with jobs they wanted as soon as it gets to the paying-money part. I am so over writing quotes that don't go anywhere.

Visible Dance is doing great though. We are all organised to start production on our piece for the Youth Focus Ball, and the performers involved and the concept involved are all brilliant. So that's something to look forward to.

2010 is looking more and more positive.. our first project is looking like having a really amazing cast. I'm so thrilled with the list of dancers that will be returning to Perth for this, can't wait to get stuck into planning it more.

Now I just need to find a way of earning enough money to get through the next couple of months. If anyone knows anyone who wants a website or photography, my prices are extremely low right now.

I had the pleasure of doing a new photoshoot with Stephanie Tulloch, who was in town briefly. We always do such good work together.

Visible Dance returns

Visible Dance has had a quiet year so far, regrouping and plotting after our insane first six months in 2008. I am thrilled that we have been asked to take on a major role in the Youth Focus "Night of Nights" ball, on which we are now hard at work.

Our new creative director Marnie Orr is being amazing, and making my job much smoother than ever before, and it's great to have something substantial that allows the company to show it's true potential.

I'm also already planning new things for 2010. So Visible is starting to return to being a big part of my time, but in a more positive way now.

Swine Flu

Apparently this is the culprit. Beware sniffling mexican pigs.

www.perthmodel.com

This project has actually been on the backburner for about TWO YEARS (thanks Visible Dance).. but finally is seeing the light of day. Aside from all the regular features of a free model portfolio site, it also allows models to rate their experiences of working with particular photographers, to make it harder for dodgy characters to operate in Perth.
